Early Bird Review - Meals in Minutes

Meals in Minutes is such an awesome cookbook!
Why?... you ask.
With my busy schedule lately,
I don't know whether I'm coming or going!
But, what I do know is...when I get home
and I don't have time to prepare a big meal,
this is one of the cookbooks I turn to.
Homemade goodness hot off the stove
or out of the oven, in no time at all!
printed a special celebration cover in honor of this cookbooks 10th Anniversary!

And what's even better than that?
You have a chance to win a copy of this cookbook!
Gooseberry Patch and the sweet, generous selves that they are, sent a copy of Meals in Minutes for me to review,
and one to give away to you!
That's right....you heard me right!
So, how do you enter for your three chances to win?

1. Leave a comment on this page...but PLEASE (if you are not a blogger) leave your name and/or your email address so I know how to reach you if you win.
2. Head over to the Gooseberry Patch facebook page and 'like' their page and tell them Gramma sent you, then come back and let me know.
3. Leave a comment on my facebook page also..PLEASE leave your comment under the post about this giveaway.

Would you like to order this cookbook now?
You can check out the Gooseberry Patch website
or Amazon!

Because this book is so 'refreshing' I decided to begin the review with a 'refreshing' drink!
Homemade Lemonade!

But first, you must prepare the recipe for
Homemade Lemonade Syrup
 2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup lemon juice

Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat; boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice.

Set aside to cool; cover and refrigerate.
I poured mine in to a canning jar with a lid.

To serve, stir 2 TBSP syrup
(or more if you'd like)
into 3/4 cup cold water; add ice.
Makes 20 servings.

Not too tangy, not too sweet.
And yes, very refreshing!

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for another recipe from
Meals in Minutes!
