Christmas
I would love to say "it's that time of year again",
but sadly...it's not.
But, it's going to be here before you know it!
Have you started Christmas shopping yet?
I have. This is the month when I try to get a lot of it done.
I have. This is the month when I try to get a lot of it done.
Clothes are on sale due to back to school sales,
so I purchase what I can now.
Toys go on sale soon too...
getting ready to re-stock for the holidays.
My goal is to NOT have to go out and rush around the week before Christmas to finish up my shopping.
But, it never fails....I'm usually out anyway!
Plus...shopping Christmas sales,
surrounded by all the decorations and music....
Sooo...to celebrate

I like the Christmas in July because I can plan ahead and have everything that I need for Christmas dinner and also plan my Thanksgiving dinner because I do them both at the same time and I make sure that if there is anything that I have to make for a gift, I will have it made and ready. Thank-You

ReplyDeleteOur family has enjoyed a Breakfast Casserole that is made the night before since the kids were small. Now that the kids are grown and we can't all be together at Christmas every year, we have it whenever we are all together anytime of the year. The Christmas Morning Casserole has become a family tradition. Memories of making it together on Christmas Eve still makes me smile and look forward to the next time we share this casserole together.
We have two. One is a side dish which is the stuffing that my grandmother used to make (I have her recipe) and then for dessert one of the treats must be the pumpkin crisp I make.
ReplyDeleteMy family's favorite dish that is a 'must-have' is Bourbon-Glazed Sweet Potatoes.

That's when I fell in love with Gooseberry Patch. And yes, I have already bought several Christmas gifts, some of which are Gooseberry Patch calendars, cookbooks and pocket calendars.
