These biscuits are so moist.
I read that they were as good as Popeye's biscuits.
Nope, we think they're better!

Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 inch square pan.

I brushed the tops of the biscuits with a little extra melted butter.

Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you're working with? I'm looking to start my own
ReplyDeleteblog soon but I'm having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something
unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to

I don't know how you can get biscuits from this sticky dough?...do you just put the whole thing in the dish and bake? my dough was so sticky?? threw it out.
ReplyDeleteOMG these were the best biscuits I have ever made. My dough was very sticky but I put some extra biscuit mix on my counter and turned it over a couple of time and patted them down to the thickness I wanted about 3/4 of an inch. I used my 2 in biscuit cutter...make sure you put it in some flour in between each biscuit.
ReplyDeleteYou can also use self rising flour instead of Bisquick if don't have it, for similar yummy results.
ReplyDeleteIn Australia we call these scones and I have made lots of different types both sweet and savoury....thanks for sharing. Have tried your recipe using lemonaide (seven up) and they worked really well. Cheers
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try it to save me some money. I keep buying frozen biscuits at the store cost around $5 to $6 dollars now I can use zip lock frozen bags to store it in the freezer and bake it later. Thank you so much!!!
