Fall-O me in to the kitchen for Hot Chicken Sandwiches

Gooseberry Patch is having another contest...and of course, I'm right on it!
There are only 3 easy steps to follow for this contest.
1. Pick a recipe from the new 101 Hearty Recipes cookbook.
If you don't own the cookbook yet, they direct you to their recipe index which contains several recipes from this book!
2. Post a photo of the dish that you prepare on Gooseberry Patch facebook page.

I'm at my daughters house right now, taking care of my two grandsons while my daughter and her hubby are at a medical conference in Hawaii. Lucky them, huh? Yep, and lucky me!
My 8 yr old grandson, aka the future Iron Chef America, wanted to help me pick out and cook a recipe. Let me rephrase that...he said I could help him. He chose the Hot Chicken Sandwich because he said it has "everything I love it in!" 
He put on his chef's apron and hat...and off to cooking he went! (yes, that's right...he owns his own apron and hat! I bought it at the Growing Cooks web site then asked a friend to print his name on it for me)

Hot Chicken Sandwiches

*6 oz pkg chicken flavored stuffing mix
*6 oz pkg herb flavored stuffing mix
*12 1/2 oz can chicken, drained and flaked
*10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
*sandwich buns, split


In a stock pot (he used a skillet) prepare stuffing mixes as packages direct.
Mix in chicken and soup.
Serve on buns. Serves 8 - 10

Have you ever heated up stuffing, turkey and gravy the day after Thanksgiving and mixed them together and put it on a dinner roll?
Well, that's kind of what these sandwiches taste like.
Something a little different...but very tasty!

My grandson said if I win...
