Spiced Pecans


Do you have those 'always asked for' recipes that your 
family wants every Christmas?
This is one of mine. 

These Spiced Pecans are so easy to make. 
They're gone almost as fast as I make them!




Spiced Pecans
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
2 TBSP water
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
3 cups Pecans

While stirring with a wooden spoon, 
bring sugar, milk, water and vanilla to a full rolling boil. 
Allow to boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Turn heat to medium.
Add cinnamon and stir until all cinnamon is dissolved.
Remove from heat. 

Add pecans and stir until all pecans are coated. 
Pour on to wax or parchment paper and separate with a spoon.
Allow to cool completely. Break pieces, that are stuck together, apart.
