Banana Pudding

Aaaahh....Banana Pudding!

I love the stuff.
I don't make it very often because I love it too much.
I find myself 'sampling' it as I'm putting it together.
Yea..I can not tell a lie.
I can eat a whole serving before I get
it all put together.
So, if I say 'this pudding will serve 10',
what I really mean is 'this pudding will serve 9'.
(but that's our secret, right?)

This is the simplest recipe for Banana Pudding that I have.
Only 5 ingredients!
It's too easy...but oh. so. good!

Banana Pudding
2  (3.4 oz) pkgs Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
4 cups milk
8 oz tub whipped topping
5 bananas, cut in to thick slices
Vanilla wafers
(little over 1/2 of a small box/pkg)

This recipe can be easily cut in half!

Prepare instant pudding as per directions on package.
With mixer on low,
mix whipped topping with pudding,
just until combined.

Line bottom of large bowl with vanilla wafers.
Try adding some of the cookies up the side of the bowl.

Add some bananas on top of the cookies

Add half of pudding mixture,
then add more bananas.
We like a lot of bananas!
Continue layering with more cookies, pudding and bananas...
be sure to end with pudding.

Top with cookies and banana slices.
Cover and place in the fridge 30 minutes to 1 hr
so pudding can continue to set.

Just look at that pudding/cookie yumminess!

Scoop in to a serving bowl
and
enjoy!

  1. My sweet Daddy's favorite dessert. Have you ever made the Paula Deen version? -- OMG, it is over-the-top and probably a bazillion calories per serving, lol.

    Enjoy your day :)

    Blessings!
