My friend, Cindy, and I love to share recipes with each other. When she called me to tell me about this recipe, I asked her if she'd like to 'guest blog' for me. Of course, she agreed. She has some of the best recipes around. And, she's a great cook! So, I have decided that I'm going to let her guest blog more often. She is as passionate about cooking as I am...and it shows!
Sp, on that note....I'd love to introduce you to one of my greatest and sweetest best friends... Cindy!
She knows everything about me and still loves me...that alone says a lot!

It
is my pleasure to be Tina's guest blogger today. Tina is one of my
dearest and very best friends. We have been through so much together
over the years. When we are together we always seem to have a good
laugh! We have so much in common...from our grandchildren to sharing our
favorite recipes. We both love to cook and I know if I have a question
about a recipe, I just call Tina and she can tell me the answer. I am
so blessed to have a friend like her.
Last
week I went to a birthday party and someone had prepared an appetizer
called Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts. It was so good that I
just kept eating and eating them.
My daughter loves water chestnuts. Her birthday was a few days ago so I fixed them for her. My family loved them! My son-in-law, who doesn't care for water chestnuts, ate one (not knowing what it was) and he went on and on about how good it was. I know you'll enjoy them as much as we did!

Looks wonderful. I remember them with chicken livers from the 60's. Much better with water chestnuts.
